Campbell In-law Suite

650 sq. ft. addition to side of house adjoined to the kitchen and dining room of the main house.   The addition included 2 bedroom (1 ensuite), open concept kitchen and nook and dining room.

Tolton Cottage

A 1550 sq. ft., 2-storey cottage with an enclosed attached eyrie looking out into the waters of Georgian Bay.

This board and batten, knotty-pine cottage includes a screened in porch and eyrie, a 16’x25’ living room with a vaulted ceiling that looks out onto the bay and over a rough sawn cedar deck.

It also has an ‘open concept’ kitchen and adjoining dining room, outdoor and indoor storage areas, a ground floor level powder room and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor level.

Bower Street Renovation-Addition

Interior Renovation and 1-storey addition to back and master bedroom extension over existing porch.

Most of the interior wall on the main level was removed which provided the opportunity to have an open concept from front room to the Great Room at the rear. A one storey addition and full basement was added on to the rear of the existing house which is now called the Great Room.

The Great Room was developed with a lowered floor level, wall to wall glazing and cathedral ceiling to capture all the natural light into the room as possible. Punch windows were added to the walls separating the bedrooms above (second level) from the Great Room below to borrow the natural light that floods into the Great Room.

The Master Bedroom was extended over the existing porch, providing a cozy sitting and reading area. Wall to wall glazing was provided across to the southern exposed wall.

Turner Sun Room

A small 400 sq. ft. addition to rear of the house, adjacent to the existing kitchen.

The client wanted natural elements, high ceilings and a flood of natural sunlight into the room (sun room). The client wanted to spend most of the budget on the interior, with dressed pine and river stone.

Board and Batten vinyl siding was used on the exterior to carry the same language of the exterior façade but was also used to break-up the horizontal elements..
